This policy explains what information Ehab Mediterranean Buffet collects when you use our website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal jargon.

Who we are

Information you give us

We only collect what you choose to send through the forms on this site:

Catering enquiries — name, phone, email, event date, event type, guest count, delivery area and your message.
Job applications — name, phone, email, the position and location you are applying for, availability, experience, and a resume if you attach one.
Franchise enquiries — name, contact details, target market, business background and timeline.
Contact messages — name, email and whatever you write to us.

We use this information to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for marketing. Signing up to our newsletter is separate and optional — see the newsletter section below.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server records standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This keeps the site running, secure and fast.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses them for a small number of purposes:

Essential cookies keep the site working — remembering your cookie choice and keeping forms and security features functioning.
Performance cookies are used by our caching system so pages load quickly.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working properly.

Other companies

Some links take you to services we do not control, and those companies have their own privacy policies:

UberEats and DoorDash — if you order through them, your order and payment details are handled by them, not by us.
Our mobile app on the App Store and Google Play.
Facebook, Instagram and TikTok — if you follow links to our social profiles.

We do not pass your personal information to any of these companies ourselves.

Newsletter and marketing emails

If you sign up to our newsletter, we collect your email address so we can send you occasional emails about new dishes, seasonal menus and catering offers. We send these no more than about once a month.

Signing up is entirely optional and separate from any enquiry you send us. We will not add you to the newsletter because you filled in a catering, careers, franchise or contact form.

We use a double opt-in: after you sign up, you will receive an email asking you to confirm. You are only added to the list once you confirm.

Our newsletter is delivered through Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which stores your email address and records whether emails were opened or links clicked so we can see whether our emails are useful. Mailchimp processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

You can leave at any time. Every email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also email info@ehabbuffet.com and we will remove you. We keep your address only while you are subscribed, and remove it after you unsubscribe.

We never sell, rent or share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep things

Enquiries and messages are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Job applications are kept for up to twelve months in case another suitable role comes up, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Keeping your information safe

The site runs over a secure HTTPS connection and access to form submissions is limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@ehabbuffet.com and we will respond as quickly as we can. As a Texas resident you may have additional rights under state privacy law regarding access to and deletion of your personal data.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
